Since 2014, I have covered the destruction sites of several buildings in Paris, Lyon, and the Paris region (Athis-Mons, Champigny, Bondy, Montfermeil). As an architect and then a photographer, various questions came to mind: What is the purpose of demolishing a building? How is a demolition project carried out? Deconstruction is becoming a subject of environmental interest, since the recovery of 70% of waste from the construction industry will be one of the objectives set for 2020. The photos taken mainly at Immobilière3F address a poorly understood subject of destruction and the methodologies that surround it.
